Open doors of inclusion for our children help them thrive.
- Sunday School is available for all children at 9:45. These classes are varied and shaped to fit the children's learning readiness. From a nursery to grade 5, children grow through their learning together about God's plan for them. See more details a the Sunday School site
- A
Children’s Moment is held at the traditional worship services on
Sunday morning. The “Moment” provides an age-appropriate
mini-sermon for children from preschool through grade 2. All
children in the service are welcome to come forward when invited!

- A preschool age class meets during the 11:00 worship in room 109. The teacher provides a Bible lesson, craft, music and time for free play.
- Children lead a special spring service when the Music ministry and Sunday School ministry join forces in a celebration service.
- During the summer, Vacation Bible School Sunday provides a chance for the VBS children to present music and lessons learned during VBS.
- Scout Sunday is a very special service presented entirely by Peakland's Scouting programs.

Mission
Open hearts for others in one's own home, church, community, and the world often are found in the littlest hearts.
- Children are encouraged to be in mission within their own families.
- Sunday School classes have mission projects that are completed during the Sunday morning classes.
- Through PUMC the children are offered the opportunity to provide Kits for Conference, glasses & toothbrushes for the Jamaican Medical Missions team, and the holiday Salvation Army Christmas stockings and Angel Tree gifts
