PUMC DINNER GROUPS 2012
Do you like good food?
Do you like to have fun?
Do you like to be with old friends and meet new ones?
Do you like to have an “excuse” to visit a restaurant…an old favorite or a new one?If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then sign up for a PUMC Dinner Group. You’ll be glad you did! Dinner Groups are open to all PUMC adults: singles, couples, old, young, and in-betweens! Groups number 8-10 people each, and the Group determines its own schedule. Sometimes Groups meet in homes and sometimes in restaurants; the choice of the location is up to each individual Group. The frequency of Dinner Group meetings is determined by each individual group also.
To join a 2012 PUMC Dinner Group, please complete the information below and place in the offering plate or return this form to the church office by Sunday, January 29 or sign up by emailing the information below to Harriet Whitten at harriet.whitten@gmail.com. Dinner Groups will be assigned in late January and you will receive details about your Group via snail mail.
2012 Flower Sign-Ups Are Needed!
The altar flower chart for 2012 is located on the bulletin board outside of the fellowship hall. Make sure to stop by and reserve a special date in honor or in memory of a special event or person. There are lots of spaces still available and we need your help to fill them in! Altar flower arrangements are $40. (Please make your check payable to PUMC.)
The Education Committee Needs You!
The Education Committee would like to thank Claire Gregory for the two years she served as Chairperson. She did a wonderful job. This year, Billie Johnson, has stepped up as Education Committee Chair and she needs your help!
Current positions available on the Education Committee:
- Pre-K – 6th Grade: Committee Member
- Adult Education: Committee Member
- Small Group Coordinator
- Publicity and Communications
- Vacation Bible School Directors

Confirmation Class 2012
Confirmation Class will begin on February 5 at 4 p.m. Anyone interested, please contact the church office at 384-2791.
Blood Drive 2012 is coming in March!
Please mark your calendars for our Peakland blood drive which will be in the fellowship hall on 3/20/12 from 12-6 pm. That is just about 8 weeks from now and you can email me your preferred time if you want a certain spot on the schedule: mjlp55@gmail.com.
