Choirs

Chancel Choir practices on Wednesday nights at 7:30 p.m. This choir sings a wide variety of choral literature from contemporary to classical to gospel. The choir sings each Sunday at the 11:00 a.m. service, adds music to the 8:30 a.m. service on special occasions, and performs special programs of music at Christmas and Easter. Adults and teens are welcome.
Praise Choir
practices on Thursday nights at 7:00 p.m. This group
of instrumentalists and singers provides praise music for the Horizons
service on Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m.. Adults and teens are welcome.
C& E Singers is a seasonal choir for any who wish
to sing for Christmas and/or Easter. This choir meets with the Chancel
Choir seasonally. Rehearsals for the Christmas
Concert will begin October 1 and continue each Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
Preschool Music: Children at Peakland have the opportunity to learn to use the choir chimes and other simple musical instruments, as well as learning singing skills and basic musicianship.
Children's music makers meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. as part of our Wonderful Wednesdays program. Grades K- 2 enjoy Music and Movement facilitated by Beth Briggs and Pam Jones in the Narthex, while Grades 3 - 5 enjoy Puppets and Music facilitated by Allison Fromm, Claire Gregory, Kim Patsell, and Steve Cox, meeting in Room 205.
Handbells

The Handbell Choir at Peakland has 5 octaves each of Malmark handbells and choir chimes. Adult handbell choir practices on Tuesday nights at 7:00 p.m.
