Combined Thanksgiving Service
On Tuesday, November 26, at 7:30 p.m., members and friends of Peakland United Methodist, First Presbyterian, and St. John’s Episcopal churches will gather at St. John’s for our fifth interdenominational Thanksgiving service.
Our union service began in 1998 when First Presbyterian hosted Peakland.
The following year, St. John’s joined us and served as the host congregation.
We have rotated the hosting of the service each year since.
Plan now to join us for this ecumenical service of thanksgiving.
The Reverend John Scholer of First Presbyterian will deliver the message of the evening.

Holiday Cookie Exchange
Saturday, November 23
10:00 a.m.—12:00 noon
The UMW will host a cookie exchange for all women of the church and youth, age 12 or older. Come join in the coffee, fun, and fellowship.
Bring your three dozen HOMEMADE (no slice and bake) cookies—one dozen to share, two dozen to exchange. Bring your cookies on a plate for serving and your exchange cookies on a tray. Be sure to bring a container for gathering your holiday goodies.
