What's available for worshipers:

  • A relaxed, welcoming atmosphere is evident at all services, with the most casual setting at Horizons service and more traditional style available at the other two worship services.
  • Communion  is served each month on the first Sunday and at special services.  Communion is served at the rail at 8:30 and by intinction at 9:45 and at 11.00.

  • Music:  Special music and organ accompaniment is a feature of the 8:30 service.  A full choir sings at the 11:00 service. The Hand Bell Choir and instrumental music often accompany each of these services on special Sundays, while a praise band provides music for Horizons services.

  • Hearing Assistance:  Peakland also provides an Assistive Listening System (ALS) which supplements our existing sound systems to provide clear and intelligible audio to those who need help in hearing.

  • Large-Print Hymnals: Large-print hymnals are located in the racks on the backs of the last row of pews in the Sanctuary.  Please help yourself if you need this assistance during the 8:30 or 11:00 services.

  • Sermons:  The pastor offers outstanding sermons at each service, with a teaching-lesson format marking the less formal setting of the Horizons service. See a sample at Pastor's Ponderings.

  • Nursery provisions:  Professional and volunteer staff provide care for all of our services. .
